National Gallery of Australia (NGA) engaged MMX Projects to upgrade their Temporary Exhibition Gallery (TEG) building fabric and aesthetic.

The TEG perimeter wall linings were upgraded removing a cold bridging issue previously affecting the priceless art installations. MMX worked closely with the architect and client to create a workable solution, value engineering the design within the client’s budget constraints.

The 2000m2 internal space with 10m high partition walls, ceiling modifications, and feature pendant light installation. The program was staged to allow re-finishing of the existing timber parquetry flooring.
